Instructions to make Crispy rice vada:

  1. Soak the Rice and udad dal for 4 to 6 hour..
  2. Grind these to make a little harder batter. Harder batter can be easily shaped with hand and slight water. Leave it 2 hr.
  3. Mix the salt and coriander leaves and green chilli and carom seeds properly..
  4. Heat the oil in a fry pan. Gently shape the batter to round shape and deep fry to get color as in picture..
  5. For tomato chutney Add all ingredients and grind it.
  6. For tamarind water Soak tamarind and paste red chilli and ginger garlic and add salt to taste and 1/2 tsp sugar 2 types chutney is ready.
  7. For making chaka pitha Aloo stuff. Heat oil in pan add curry leaves and green chilli and peanut and green peas fry 1 min. Add boil potatoes and jeera powder and garam masala mix it 3 min and add coriander leaves.
  8. In your hand take small amount of mixture and stuff with aloo and cover it with better and fry it medium to high flam till golden brown Served it with chutney.
  9. For Chatpata chaulbara Chaul bara ready to serve. Serve with chickpeas curry and Tomato-Coriander chutney and telel jhol and spinkle some coriander leaves and onions.
